Following the same priority order as the last two updates, we've translated what to pack, Sydney on a budget, and accessible Sydney into Indonesian, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese.
Eight down, eleven to go
That's now eight of the practical info section's nineteen articles fully translated into all three languages — genuinely over the halfway mark for this section. The remaining eleven cover airport arrival, renting a car, connectivity and SIM cards, public holidays, solo travel, working holiday visas, travel insurance, drone laws, short-term rentals, opening hours, and slang.
A quality note
Translating idiomatic, informally-written content (rather than dry technical documentation) into three languages with entirely different scripts is genuinely easy to get subtly wrong — a wrong character variant, an awkward phrase borrowed too literally from English. We're proofreading each batch specifically for this before it goes live, including a scripted check across every translated file for characters that don't belong in that language's writing system. It caught a real mistake this round, which is exactly what it's there for.
